Day 1 Monday - April 18 2016

After a long 7hour flight from Toronto, we have arrived in France at Paris CDG Airport.  Cleared passport and customs in about 5min, no forms, just scan the passport and go - that I like.

We are with a group of 14 others who are touring WWI battle sites in Northern France along the border of Beligum. 

It is about a 2 hour trip on our private bus we are in Arras.

Had lunch at [name pending] and then we toured the central square of Arras, there are still bullet holes in the war memorial where the Germany's shot at it.

After a much needed rest in the afternoon, then it was off to dinner at Euro Start which was your typical city style pub restaurant.
